Atlantic supports NDTA and USTRANSCOM

Attending and exhibiting at the 2021 National Defense Transportation Association Fall Meeting was a phenomenal experience.  It was one of the first large-scale meetings bringing transporters and their fellow logisticians together for in-person dialog in a very long time due to the COVID pandemic.

Working in concert with the United States Transportation Command, all aspects of the event were very well orchestrated.

One of the fundamental precepts of this partnership is the all-hands on deck approach to dealing with the issues affecting the successful transportation support of our nation under any circumstances whether armed conflict or natural disaster.

There were multiple channels for information exchange at the meeting, with presentations on the status of ongoing initiatives presented by the primary stakeholders in these areas.

Also featured were panels and meetings in which various stages of issue identification and discussion took place.

Director of Governement Services Jon Mosal speaks with Mr. Dewayne Corbett, Sr. during the event.

Within the framework established, attendees from government and industry freely and openly engaged to define the issues and discuss possible courses of action, taking into account all perspectives.

This was done with the sole purpose of finding the best solution for our country.

In summary, it was an outstanding opportunity to be a direct participant in shaping the future course of transportation in the United States and beyond. We're already looking forward to next year in St. Louis.
