Integrity, commitment and service are central elements of the culture at Atlantic Logistics and we hire people who value those ideals. Our service extends beyond our customers and into our communities, the same ones that shelter and support our workers, tend our sick and educate our children. That’s why giving back to our communities – being of service – is simply a part of working for Atlantic Logistics. It’s who we are.
Founded by Evie and Bob Hooper in 2001, Atlantic Logistics remains a family-owned, family-run business with a tradition of charitable giving that’s lasted for two decades. Rob Hooper, Jr., CEO of Atlantic Logistics, and his mother, Evie Hooper, are proud to continue that tradition with the launch of Atlantic Cares – the company’s volunteer and philanthropy program.

"Giving back to the community is one of our core values as a company," says CEO Rob Hooper, Jr., "and through Atlantic Cares we're able to support incredible organizations."
Through our Service 365 initiative, we're able to donate roughly $3000 each month in 2022, to the following organizations. If you're able we encourage you to do the same.
Seamark Ranch, Ronald McDonald House, Feeding Northeast Florida, ALS Association, Sulzbacher Center, Coral Restoration Foundation, Operation New Uniform, Tunnels To Towers, St. Christopher's Trucker Development & Relief Fund, 6:8 Ministries, United Way of Northeast Florida and U.S. Marine Toys for Tots Program.

Education is the engine that drives change. When we enrich minds, we improve lives, which is why we bequeathed a gift of $20,000 for a non-endowed scholarship fund to Florida State College at Jacksonville Foundation Inc. and its students. The FSCJ Pathways to Work Scholarship Fund will provide financial aid to current or future students enrolled in the Logistics and Transportation Specialist Technical Certificate Program or the Supply Chain Management Associate in Science Degree.

Compassion is a company value. We look for it. We try to cultivate it – because we understand that compassion is a key element of providing exceptional service – and service is the lynchpin of our business.
There’s a reason we’re not commission based. We want the conversation to always be about solutions, not profits. That’s why Atlantic Logistics looks to attract and retain a certain kind of person – those who pair kindness with commitment to actively work toward change, toward better futures for both our colleagues and our community.
To empower our employees in their service efforts, Atlantic Logistics provides its staff with a paid volunteer day every year. Employees are encouraged to donate their time to the charity, nonprofit or service closest to their heart.
How we reach out is not important.
It's the effort that we make that means everything.
The Atlantic Cares volunteer program has allowed our staff to serve those in need in a variety of ways.

After nearly twenty years of mission work, 6:8 Ministries still finds deep joy in serving others.
