CEO Rob Hooper, Jr., recently named 12 local nonprofits Atlantic Logistics will support with funding. The amount donated will be based on the number of trucking loads completed among 3PL partners during each of the upcoming 12 months. Hooper estimates each organization will receive a $2,500 donation. The funds will benefit the ALS Association, the Sulzbacher Center, Coral Restoration Foundation, the U.S. Marine Toys for Tots Program and many others.
Education is the engine that drives change. When we enrich minds, we improve lives, which is why we bequeathed a gift of $20,000 for a non-endowed scholarship fund to Florida State College at Jacksonville Foundation Inc. and its students. The FSCJ Pathways to Work Scholarship Fund will provide financial aid to current or future students enrolled in the Logistics and Transportation Specialist Technical Certificate Program or the Supply Chain Management Associate in Science Degree.
Compassion is a company value. To empower our employees in their service efforts, Atlantic Logistics provides staff with a paid volunteer day each year. Employees are encouraged to donate their time to the charity, nonprofit or service closest to their heart.
