Every September, the country pauses to celebrate the hardworking men and women who keep our supply chains moving during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (#NTDAW25).
This year, NTDAW runs from September 14–20, 2025, and it’s a time to recognize the more than 3.5 million professional truck drivers across the U.S. who deliver the goods that keep our communities running.
Think about it: nearly everything we rely on from groceries, clothing, construction materials, medical supplies, and fuel spends time on a truck. Without drivers, shelves would sit empty, hospitals would lack critical supplies, and businesses of every size would come to a standstill. Their work isn’t just essential; it’s the backbone of our daily lives and our economy.

Carolina Tarps produced a powerful YouTube video in 2024 that we still can’t get enough of. It offers a raw, inside look into the daily life of independent truckers through a candid roundtable discussion.

Supporting Driver Health: St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund

That’s where the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund steps in.
SCF provides financial aid to truck drivers and their families when injury or illness prevents them from working. Beyond that, the organization leads wellness initiatives to help drivers manage and prevent chronic health conditions. At Atlantic Logistics, we’re proud to support SCF through our Atlantic Cares Program. From donations and fundraising to in-kind giving and round-up campaigns at retailers like Walmart, there are so many ways to get involved. Every little bit makes a difference for the drivers who give so much of themselves every day.
