We Love Our Partners

We love it when one of our trusted partners stops by the office, especially one as valued as Cheryle Lackowski of All Florida Trucking. Earlier this year, Cheryle asked if we had any interest in the sponsorship of a youth softball team. The answer was a resounding yes, especially when her daughter is a star player.

Logistics Specialist Teresa Peterson has been working with Cheryle for a few years now and reflects warmly on the relationship. "Three years ago our relationship grew when I mentioned volunteering at The Ark Wildlife Care and Sanctuary. Cheryle loves animals, so it was a natural fit. Soon after, I started going to her daughter's softball games and there was an opportunity to get involved as a sponsor. Once again, it was a natural fit."

“With twenty years in business, we're invested not only in our team, but in our community. Friends and family alike know our Jacksonville neighborhoods and many have been involved in area youth sports. It's our pleasure to participate in and celebrate future athletes. At Atlantic, we honor the concept of team. When you believe in yourself and in each other, the sky really is the limit," said CEO Rob Hooper.

So, when Cherlye dropped by with a thank you gift from the team, we were so touched. It's a lovely plaque that we'll be displaying proudly the our expanded office space that opening this autumn.

"We were glad to partner with Cheryle and sponsor the Allstars," Hooper continued. "We wholeheartedly support endeavors that teaches kids learn how to work together. Life lessons like that lay the foundations for making the world a better place, and how can you argue with that?"
