2022 State of the Port at UNF – Examining the Resiliency of Jacksonville’s Transportation Ecosystem

Despite upheaval in the global supply chain, Jacksonville’s transportation ecosystem has continued to thrive. Join Atlantic Logistics as we explore the reasons behind this strength at the 2022 State of the Port, an in-person event with a virtual option happening Tuesday, March 8, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the University of North Florida’s Adam H. Herbert University Center in Jacksonville. The event, which is hosted by the Propeller Club – Port of Jacksonville, will explore emerging supply chain trends and their impact on Northeast Florida.

Discussion topics will include the significant public and private investments that are contributing to the growth of the region’s cargo handling capabilities, as well as major trends driving business in the port’s major trade lanes and cargo types. There will also be a number of industry experts to help present and facilitate discussions, including Craig Mygatt, CEO of Ceres Terminals; Aundra Wallace, President of JAXUSA Partnership; Bobby Wein, Director of Strategic Planning at SSA Marine and JAXPORT CEO Eric Green. We’re really looking forward to this exciting and critical community event.

Atlantic Logistics Attends the 2022 Brunswick State of the Port Address

After the State of the Port in Jacksonville, Atlantic Logistics will head up to the Peach State to continue the fun at the 2022 Brunswick State of the Port Address, hosted by Georgia Ports and the Brunswick-Golden Isle Chamber of Commerce.

The event will take place Wednesday, March 9, 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Jekyll Island Convention Center in Jekyll Island, GA. Speakers will include Joel Wooten, Chairman of Georgia Ports; Griff Lynch, Executive Director of Georgia Ports; Mike Scherneck, Chairman of Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, Ralph Staffins, President & CEO of Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce and Cedric King, Chairman-Elect of Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce.

Atlantic Logistics Heads to the Transportation and Logistics Council’s 48th Annual Conference March 21-23 in Orlando

Education never stops, so Atlantic Logistics will be heading down to Orlando to immerse ourselves in the Transportation and Logistics Council’s 48th Annual Conference, “Education for Transportation Professionals.”

The event will be held March 21-23 at the Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida. TLC, a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the interests of the shipping community through education and representation in issues relating to the transportation of goods, has put together an impressive program.

The conference will center around workshop topics like Life After Covid, What you Need to Know About Bills of Lading, International Trade and much more. TLC is also offering three seminars in advance of the conference on Sunday, March 20th - Contracting for Transportation & Logistics Services, Freight Claims in Plain English, and Transportation, Logistics and the Law - all presented by leading transportation attorneys.
