Jaimie Wilson Named Rising Star by TMSA

During the 2023 ELEVATE Conference in Savannah, Corporate Communications and Documentation Specialist Jaimie Wilson was bestowed with the distinguished recognition of being a recipient of the renowned Trailblazers Awards by the Transportation Marketing and Sales Association (TMSA).

"I'm very thankful for TMSA's recognition and commitment to furthering education and collaboration in the transportation industry. Winning feels cool, but my success is really a reflection of the freedom and support I get at Atlantic Logistics," said Wilson. "I'm discovering being neurodivergent in logistics can be a kind of superpower. I never would have had the courage to truly be myself and discover hidden strengths without a really great company and team supporting me."

The TMSA Trailblazer awards showcase the very best of marketing and sales in the transportation and logistics industry. These awards push beyond recognizing the top campaigns but also the people behind the brand. As a trade non-profit in the transportation space, TMSA also highlights all the great work companies do to give back to their communities.

“The marketing and sales teams in the industry continue to blow me away with their diverse submissions,” said Courtney Keenan, TMSA Recognition Committee Chairperson and RLS Logistics Marketing and CX Manager. “This year, we are pleased to celebrate the success of 27 brands for blazing a trail at their companies or in their communities.”

The panel of judges, composed of industry professionals, awarded companies and individuals based on their outstanding achievements over the last 18 months. In addition to sales and marketing, submissions included recruitment, diversity, equity, and inclusion in this year’s winning submissions.

“Marketing and sales inside the transportation industry continues to evolve. TMSA is thrilled to honor the innovative thinkers whose campaigns include topics from content marketing to diversity, equity and inclusion to recruitment to everything in between and out-of-the-box,” said Jennifer Karpus-Romain, Executive Director at TMSA.

"It's hard to spread your wings, follow your dreams and all that jazz when you're too busy trying to survive," Wilson continues, "for the first time in my life, my work/life balance is sustainable...and that leads to all kinds of amazing things."
